Cooking For Dame: Cauliflower Dough Pizza

In our first episode at Dash Diabetes Network Wifey for LifeyRaquel Horn invites us into her kitchen and teaches us how to cook Cauliflower Dough Pizza a healthy and delicious diabetic friendly meal. Since diabetics must be vigilant about what and when they eat, Raquel focuses on low-carb dishes for Dame. Cauliflower Dough Pizza:
*Use organic / Non-GMO whenever possible


1 head of cauliflower, riced and strained
2 large eggs
½ cup fresh mozzarella cheese
¼ cup fresh Parmesan & Romano cheese
1 TBSP Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste

½ cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup fresh basil leaves
½ tsp red pepper flakes


1. Pre-heat oven to 425
2. Rice the cauliflower then microwave for 5 minutes
3. Once cool, strain to remove all liquid. Add to large mixing bowl.
4. Add 2 eggs, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning
5. Add Mozzarella, Parmesan & Romano cheese
6. Knead mixture until it becomes consistency of dough
7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread ‘dough’ on sheet into rectangle
8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown
9. Once baking is complete, spread marinara sauce evenly on ‘dough’
10. Add cheese, red pepper flakes and fresh basil
11. Bake for 3-5 minutes at 420, or until cheese is melted
